Since February 2006, Frank and Peter play new instruments built by the Dutch guitar builder Bert Kwakkel www.kwakkel.com Great spruce guitars with a magnificent sound. Wonderful craftsmanship.

Heinrich Nusko - Model with cedar soundboard:
On the CDs La Guitarra Poética, Ornamenten and Retratos, Duolisme play hand-built guitars by the Austrian guitar builder Heinrich Nusko. In combination with D’addario and Savarez strings, the clear transparent but warm sound is brought out well in these instruments. During concerts that require amplification, the Nusko guitars are provided with a Fishman microphone – with bridge pickup.
In combination with the speakers of Jan Verweij, the authentic typical cedar sounds remain as true as possible.
A completely faithful reproduction is impossible of course!
